Flacco was carrying a much weaker team in 2013? They were coming off a Super Bowl winning season. And what about 2012? THEY won the Super bowl; yet his numbers paled in comparison. THe QB rating takes everything into account. Passing yardage is a flawed stat because losing teams are always throwing; often against prevent defenses.

The fact is that Wilson plays on an island out in the Northwest, and doesn't get the publicity that the Eastern Seaboard Programming Network loves to fawn on players in NY, Boston, Baltimore and Philly.
