Even Fox noted Trump's cuts to mental health funding:

I can not find any data from the CDC or any one else that has suicides greater than 190,000 deaths from the coronavirus

Something is wrong. Btw, suicides have steadily increased over the last decade.
What I did find. 48,344 Americans died by suicide so far in 2020.

only 2/3rds of the year is complete and we already surpassed last years total. That equates to around 16,000 more people that will commit suicide this year and it may even be greater as there situations become worse. This is the point you lockdown folks do not seem to get. In "saving lives" you are destroying many more lives. This is just a tiny tip of the iceberg. I know it all the orange man's fault. Yawn.

By the way we have now surpassed Sweden in deaths per million. They have lost maybe a dozen people in the last week or so, we lost over 1700 in the last 2 days. Something tells me their approach was a smarter approach, but I am sure you will find seven articles to support your claim that it wasn't. Make sure you include lot's of pretty graphs.

Americans had high rates of depression before covid-19.

Covid, because of social distancing, just made it worse for people who have fewer inner resources to depend on.

Somebody needs to write articles about those who are thriving, because there are tons of creative and self-possessed types who never were really out and about all the time in the first place, and are totally content, for long periods of time, with their own company.

I've lived rurally and close to off the grid for a number of decades and have observed this, so I know these people exist.

Many people in developed nations have been battling unhappiness, and I chalk it up to affluenza. They have less to be depressed about, yet our opioid crisis is one of the highest, etc. Not to mention that antidepressant use is sky high in the population........before covid.

Maybe time to examine just what IS exactly wrong.

NO ONE brings on insulin dependent diabetes....There are many theories behind the etiology from a slow virus that selectively kills the Beta cells of the pancreas to genetic predispositions.

Type 2 (insulin resistance diabetes) has ONE common etiology

can't you find a chart for numbers during the last week?

Biden just said there have been more deaths from 'the virus' this year than EVER in all history

He was probably in medical school and then residency, which is demanding, and could not join in at those DKE fraternity, keg parties, toga parties, and all that "boofing" like some people.

I guess that makes him a stick-in-the-mud.

By the way, I guess this is time to give a kudos to our medical professionals who are working very hard during covid, even lacking generally accepted modern equipments like simple PPE, and some have given up their lives and their health, doing it.

Funny, that topic is not brought up here much, if at all, so I thought I'd give them a high-five here. Hope that isn't offensive to anyone.

He's not talking about year to date.
He's talking about what is being seen in the last while.
