Frankel

What a year he's having as a sire. He's sired the winners of two of this years UK classics. The 2000 guineas at Newmarket over a mile and The Epsom Oaks over 1m 4f. This year so far at Royal Ascot he's sired the winners of three Group 1's. over 1 mile, 1m 2f and today he had the winner of the Ascot Gold Cup over the marathon 2m 4f. That is versatile. He looks like he is going to be every bit as good as a sire as he was on the track. I'm lucky enough to be going to see him next month at The Banstead Manor Stud and am so excited.

It's been a great Royal Ascot so far and today King Charles had his first Royal Ascot winner. This is great for racing as it it is sure to make the front pages of the papers tomorrow.

Frankel also sired the runners up in both the Queen Anne (1-2 finish there) & St. James' Palace & got 3rd in the Prince of Wales'.

Has further shots to show his versatility in Group company for Juddmonte tomorrow at 7 furlongs Covey) & 12 furlongs (Arrest).

Meanwhile, his own sire Galileo might have got his last winner at Royal Ascot today courtesy of Warm Heart (coincidentally smashing the hot favorite, Al Asifah, a daughter of Frankel).

Thanks; it was actually today that he won, less than an hour ago.

More sire power at this Royal Ascot meet.

The top French stallion Siyouni sired both winners of the 3yo mile Group 1s (Paddington & Tahiyra).

Kingman sired the 2nd & 3rd place finishers in the Coronation.

The Derby Stakes proving to be a key race at Royal Ascot, which bolsters the hype heaped upon Coolmore's Auguste Rodin.

Derby 6th Waipiro won the 10 furlong Hampton Court yesterday impressively while Derby runner-up King of Steel just crushed the 12 furlong King Edward.

Auguste Rodin supposed to make his next start in the Irish Derby in the next Sunday.
