the anti-Tapeta folks don't have a leg to stand on, other than their own personal preferences/bias towards dirt racing, which is arguably unsupportable, and largely isolated to the United States approach to racing
one would assume that at some point there will be pressure to make progress on all the fronts that deviate from making racing as safe for horses as possible
so is the equally unsupportable issue of making jockeys race at obscene weights for their size, but that's another story
