Russia actually starting to act like Russia.
In another place I've talked to some people tasked with training the Ukrainian military the past few years. They've been surprised that Russia didn't open the conflict with the mass fires their doctrine normally calls for.

It's like I said in another post. CNN and all the other news outlets are acting like two nations not named USA have never had a military conflict before.
And everyone, including myself, is getting all caught up in it.

Zelensky is pretty bad ass, not fleeing. Trump would be stepping on or over women and children to escape. Biden would be standing there perplexed and you'd have to explain to him constantly what's going on around him.
