Kind of brings a tear to your eye.

I for one am not in favor of watching "altered athletes."
Every cell of that athlete's body's that hasn't been surgically removed still has a Y chromosome in it.
As far as I'm concerned the presence of Y chromosomes indicates masculinity still is a factor that can give an unfair advantage in many sports.
If transgendered want to compete, let them compete against one another.

The same applies for girls who transform supposedly to boys.
They still have every cell with XX.
They should not be allowed in competitions of that nature.

How is this person a he if they still have female parts? I am confused, we have a girl taking testosterone wrestling other girls, how is that fair and not cheating?

Either you are I are confused, I thought the mentioned athlete was a girl who wants to be a man, not the other way around.

You're right. I was wrong. She wants to become a he.
I skimmed the article too quickly.
Nevertheless, every cell not surgically altered in this instance has an XX chromosome.
She's probably pumped up with testosterone or otherwise this supposed "he" wouldn't last long until starting to revert back to her previous state.
In other words it's still a very faux situation.
Let XY athletes compete against XY's.
Let XX compete against XX, as long as they aren't doped up with testosterone.
