12/26-The Malibu (Gr. 1)
If they all somehow make the race, who do you lean towards ?
Baby Yoda
Flightline
Jackie's Warrior
Life Is Good
Olympiad
I like the 2 Mott runners.
Probably go to Baby Yoda.
Heck, the BC Sprint might get all of them.

If all those make it to the Malibu I'll pick from Defunded, None Above the Law, Rombauer, or First Captain.
Highly Motivated might be in the mix, too, unless the present hiccup is more than minor.
They usually run a rich 7f 3yo stakes on the BC undercard in CA (the Damascus) which is a preview of sorts for the Malibu.
Keeneland also has the Perryville to consider if the Flightline camp is interested in emulating Nashville's career trajectory.

We shouldn’t leave Beau Liam and Witzel out of the conversation.

Witsel is out with an injury for the remainder of the year, so you can indeed leave him out of this conversation.
Pretty amazing with all the depth of stake races that the top Beyer figs for both the Saratoga & Del Mar meets were each in NW1x allowance races.

Beau Liam (I think they're eyeballing NY in early Dec.).....this Beau is a nice Colt.
Dr. Schivel.......The goods, giggling at older Gr. 1 winners these days.
Even Stilleto Boy......nice race out of the Awesome Again today against older, sired by Schackelford.......that helps.

He probably thinks Brian Hernandez stopped riding him in the stretch.

I liked his race quite a bit.
In his other races he sailed against lighter.....never outside of his comfort zone.
On Saturday Beau took on a grizzled bunch, made mistakes.......didn't catch any kind of a good trip.......and kept trying hard all the way to the wire.
Simply put,I like his Ack Ack more then anything else BL has done.
Sidebar:
Brad Cox has Plainsman turning into a top notch miler........I'll play him in the BC Dirt Mile.
