No talk about R6 at TDN today?
Surprised nobody has brought this one up. Race was run without much incident. After it took quite a while as bettors waited in limbo, then were told it was declared a no contest due to technical difficulties.
Turns out those difficulties were the betting windows not being closed until well into the race, 54 seconds I think I saw.

my question is going to be a simple one, why didn't they just not pay the people that bet after the bell. they CLAIM to have a time stamp on every bet! ON MY ADW ACCOUNTS, EVERY BET HAS A RECORDED TIME. and I am sure your ADW does too.

I don't know why anything shocks me anymore when it comes to some type of issues with betting. How does that even happen with todays technology. I can't wait to see how the new rules for betting into the win pools with the NYRA work out.

[QUOTE=FRMNBRI;2747262]its already started. if you pay close attention you will not see the heavy drop down in price with horses that beat the gate like we have been accustomed to for so long.

That is the obvious question. It shouldn't be hard in 2021.

wild. I've had the opposite happen, were a favorite breaks through the gate just before Off, and I go to cancel my wagers, and then make some quick bets on a few other contenders, and the pools are 'closed' prematurely.
Never noticed a late pool.
Agree w/ you guys... 'INQUIRY' goes up after the race. Determine the time that the gate opens. 'Cancel' all wagers submitted with time stamps after that time...
If there aren't time stamps of accurate nature, then that opens a whole can of worms. Like to thinks that all sources have the same time stamps and 'cancel delays' ...

Funny how the "wire" that's responsible for accepting the bets never gets 'loose'.
