Pace Software

Besides Black Magic/Valuecapper and Multicaps is there handicapping software that presents speed and pace numbers in both a field summary comparison and an individual horse form cycle format?

I am looking for numbers that are based on maintained pars, which cover the early, mid, and late fractional intervals, as well as composite pace, for 10 furlong and longer distances, as well as the shorter ones.

The issue I have with the Post Time Solutions software is that pace ratings beyond 1/8 miles are not reported.

Multicaps appears to be unmaintained, since 2003, and I have to use screen capture software in order for it to be readable.

Thanks,

I'd also mention RDSS at PaceAndCap.com (which is Sartin based and uses TrackMaster files.)

Thanks a bunch, Jeff.

Looks like I have my work cut out for me, before Black Friday.

I'm looking to fill a prominent gap in my daily driver software, that's been bothering me for years. I had to pass, for example, on some juicy prices at KD and Belmont's longer races this fall and summer, and if I hadn't had My Sister Nat as one of my stable horses, I would have been S.O.L. in the longer format Breeders' Cup races.

I have in my arsenal of pace software tools a program called Pace Plus Enhanced. Uses the single data Bris file. Uses Bris speed and various on screen pace numbers as well as TPR numbers and a screen just for Sartin numbers.

Brisnet PP's has all your numbers , including Race Pars....

if you use Twinspires, your PP's are free as long as you bet that track that day...

You can start here http://www.paceeval.com/index.html

The original developer seems to have passed away. No idea how old this is or whether it is still actually available.

pace software

Beacon -

Post Time Solutions (PTS) generates PPs that are used in ValueCapper. Those PPs have a Quirin (Quinn?) style Speed Rating for each horse, each race, regardlessof the distance; however they do not produce that information in a summary format.

Those numbers are in bold immediately after the class of the race and just before the column that has the starting position for the hoss.

Another great program that provides speed and pace information in a truly unique way is found at Optixeq. www.optixeq.com. Definitely worth checking out. Lots of information and examples on the website
