The Democratic National Convention will begin in Chicago on Monday, August 19, 2024
I wonder if there will be 'mostly peaceful' protests like half a century ago. The new 'NEVER BIDEN' campaign seems very democrat-like.

So, what are you suggesting?
That Tom and Just Ralph go there and raise hell?
For me, if you have travel plans to Chicago at that time,
I'm saying you can take in Wrigley Field, Navy Pier, and
any tall building of your choice in complete safety.
Anyone care to differ?

It's always a fun time at Wrigleyville. 
Was lucky to grow up in suburban Chicago in the 1960s.
Fell in love with the Cubs - Ron Santo, Ernie Banks, Billy Williams,
Ken Holtzman, and Fergie Jenkins. Moved 4,000 miles away at age 10,
so I lost touch with baseball, but never lost the love for it.
Went back in the 1990s when I lived in Evanston for a year.
My son was born there - so he became a White Sox fan - go figure

we don't have to travel, plenty of lifelong Chicago democrats mad as hell most of their services and benefits are going to those new residents that just crossed the border

People don't go to Chicago, thry end up in Chicago.
