Race 4 Devas Twelve --very strong race last time, when a real jock got on him. (3:1)

Race 6 New Power (5:1) Great Spirit (3:1) Super Glory

Race 8 Foolish Heart - Leung has to get cover and do a better job in the lane - clunky, no change stretch run last time. Wider draw is a concern.

Race 10 Never Too Soon (11:1) - shut off late stretch last out and a huge win @ 1400M July 2022. Sweet Briar- Purton replaced the inept Chadwick on Devas Twelve last time out and the horse galloped. Same will probably happen with Hewitson FINALLY OFF this horse. LYLE JUST CAN'T FINISH!!

Going to be looking for overlays tonight, not runners that I believe will win, but horses that are going off at higher odds than I believe they should be going off at.

Race 1 Eight Trigrams (8-1) Usually shows good speed and is moving from the 14 barrier to the 2 from his last out. Getting the 5 pound bug boy who has had a very successful season with trainer Tsui so far.

Race 2 Flying Dragon (8-1) Would most likely have Bowman on his back if he was riding today, but did just miss out on the dirt 3 back with the 5 pound apprentice that picked up the mount. Has 8 in the money finishes on the surface out of 15 tries with 3 wins.

Got the inside trip I expected on the . Hate to be critical of a jock after he wins for me but the horse is trying to get out in the lane and Teetan is sticking him right handed. When he finally switches the whip, the horse takes off.



Race 3 - Chateauneuf won easily 1st time out while finishing on the wrong lead.

Race 3 Run Run Timing (14-1) Has been a lot shorter than 14-1 in his last three races with a win 2 back as the chalk. He prefers to be alone on the lead and is getting a much better post than in his last where he tired after being sent.

Nice start but got to be careful going forward. This horse wired the field by 4 lengths, a huge margin for HV sprints. Need to guard against a speed bias as the rest of my sprint picks are late closers
