The past three days had the P6 pools exceeding 50K. Must be several syndicates trying for the fool's gold with ALL tickets.

1 - All racebooks in Nevada take the dime GP P6.

2 - Wynn is the best for KY Derby Future Book Wagers.

Today an all ticket would cost $130,680 after scratches.

10 x 11 x 11 x 10 x 9 x 12 = 1,306,800 combinations.

Also available in the northern Delaware / Philly area is Maryland's North East OTB. It's off the Rising Sun exit, I think. They're AmTote, so they've got it.

I personally have no plans to put any $$$ into this wager prior to closing day except perhaps a few recreational quick picks if I happen to be at the track.

Why don't you explain to the folks here why waiting until April 24th to bet into what could be a massive Pick 6 pool on a dime wager is a dumb idea?

BTW, who hates it besides you?

Dude, I like the idea, I was being sarcastic. For months I've been reading what a dumb bet it is and nobody will bet it and here's a thread where people are clamoring to find out where they can drive 25 miles to place a bet. I thought it was funny.

I think this bet is a dumb idea because it doesnt reward great handicapping. Its more of a bet for lottery players, it doesnt have much to do with horseracing. I'll wait till closing day. If i look up and there's a big C/O, i'll play it knowing it will be treated like a normal pick 6.

You mean it's a crapshoot with 52% takeout?

Thanks for the valuable info David.

Will definitely check out Wynn. Is it the best venue for simulcast wagering of tbreds in terms of comfort and private tv or wager terminal?

If you wait until the last day to play, you must try to select the most unpopular combinations in hopes that noone else has the same sequence on his/her ticket.

You are better off playing the wager now, before everyone and their mother gets involved, while trying to cover the rare combo sequence that might leave u the sole winner, as in the case of the Beulah mastermind.

Look at that Beulah payout info that Vinman had posted. Note the sequence that paid was not 99-1 folowed by 99-1 followed by 99-1...etc..etc....

Instead, it was a sequence comprised of double digit horses that were not impossible, but needed luck against conventional favorites and second and third choices...

Or maybe there are more betting outlets taking the wager.

Most likely your OTW outlet has Sportech (Scientific Games) as its tote company, which cannot take the wager. You'll probably need to open a Twin Spires or Xpress Bet wagering account in order to bet the Rainbow 6.
