As in real life, the poll was hijacked by non members voting in it.
They are practicing for November.

We have similar backgrounds. I, too, was raised Catholic and attended Catholic schools from grades 1 through 9. Grade 10 was at a public school in Commiefornia <g>. After that I dropped out of school. After that I obtained my GED. After that I attended college.

You should sit down and read the scriptures one day, attended with much prayer that God would remove your presuppositions and that he'd open your mind and heart to be led by the Holy Spirit to understand his truth. If you're sincere in your prayer and your intentions are honest, he will hear you and honor your request.

And my suggestion would be to start in the Gospels; for there has never been a teacher who even remotely comes close to rivaling Jesus. I didn't learn about Christ this way myself, for I started my journey in the book of Genesis. But I remember my reaction as I read his words in the Gospels for the first time. I felt exactly like many of the people who sat at his feet to learn from him:

Matt 7:28-29
28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because he taught as one who had authority , and not as their teachers of the law.

If Donald Trump has 58 votes I must not know the proper modern definition of an anti-Christ.

Well...this poll isn't turning out the way most of you thought it would.

I could have voted twice but didn't. You don't have to sign in to vote. If you don't have a static I.P. address you could probably vote as many times as you want. Kind of shows you if someone would vote multiple times in a silly poll what would they do on something that mattered if they could get away with it?

Boxcar,

I appreciate your thoughts on the subject.

Right now I'm in a place where I'm pretty convinced that regardless of whether people believe Jesus is God or not, the moral teachings of Christianity as a philosophy would lead to a dramatic improvement in the quality of people's lives and solve an endless list of social problems if followed. That includes for me. I've lead far from a sinless life, but I can and am doing better.

IMO, one reason our country is in such a steep decline is because we are rejecting Judeo Christian values. Some of that is so blatantly obvious at this point, I can't help but litter my political commentary with religious words like satanic, demonic, anti Christ etc.. to describe some people. I'm starting to see some things in terms of good and evil because of the implications of evil.

Politically, I have libertarian leanings. I think it's wrong to impose your will on others even when you are certain you are right (inevitably you will be wrong occasionally or change your view over time). But when the evil around you is so blatantly obvious and destroying the country and quality of life for all, it's hard to hold back. That's especially true when evil has the upper hand and is convincing the lemmings that the "good" people are the evil ones all while what they are promoting is producing disastrous results.

There's a track record of such accusations. Why I bother to continue to point out the obvious to you is beyond me.

If you subtract the number of votes cast more than once by anyone, Trump would not even be in the top three. So much for polls.
