Trump spread racist lies in his single most important speech

Trump spread racist lies in his single most important speech — and now his own DOJ has called him out on it
https://www.rawstory.com/2018/08/tru...ow-doj-called/

It is no longer remotely newsworthy when President Donald Trump tells lies. It is, however, newsworthy when his own Department of Justice calls him out for having lied.

That is essentially what happened when Benjamin Wittes, the journalist behind the blog Lawfare, filed Freedom of Information Act requests in April 2017 to find out whether there was any truth to this statement made by Trump in his February 2017 State of the Union address:

"According to data provided by the Department of Justice, the vast majority of individuals convicted of terrorism and terrorism-related offenses since 9/11 came here from outside of our country."

Trump reiterated this claim last January, tweeting that a “new report from DOJ & DHS shows that nearly 3 in 4 individuals convicted of terrorism-related charges are foreign-born. We have submitted to Congress a list of resources and reforms we need to keep America safe, including moving away from a random chain migration and lottery system, to one that is merit-based.”

When the Department of Justice did not respond to Wittes’ April FOIA request, he filed suit against the department, as he explained on his blog earlier this week. Over a protracted stretch of time, and after much back-and-forth with bureaucrats, he received the information he needed to conclude that Trump claim was blatantly false: Most people convicted of terrorism and terrorism-related offenses since the 9/11 attacks have not come from outside the U.S. Trump’s own Justice Department officials confirmed as much in their letter declaring that they had acceded to Wittes’ FOIA request.

This brings us to acclaimed Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe, who tweeted his own thoughts about the Justice letter on Friday.

Tribe observed that it’s highly unusual for a president to be undercut by his own officials this way. “For the Justice Department in effect to say that the president was lying, which is how I read their letter, is quite remarkable,” Tribe said. “I don’t think I know of any other instance in American history in which a president’s own Justice Department had to say that the president was making up information that simply didn’t exist. I think it’s quite outrageous, and I’m glad that Ben Wittes pursued the matter.”

Get a life, no one cares about what you post or probably even reads it any more. I am happy to see how Trump makes you so miserable.

It is because he is a miserable person, it is all because of the non socialist/communist fault in his mind. He will spew left wing hate with his last breath, it is all that he has to offer and look forward to. The disturbing thing is there are more of them here.

So why are you telling him to get a life if it makes you so happy?

I think that there is a question as to what constitutes a terrorist attack and what might be due to home grown individuals with mental delusions.

CNN who calls themselves "The most trusted name in news." lists on their website what they consider to be notable terrorist attacks in the U.S. since 9-11 The majority were committed by foreigners.
See below:

September 11, 2001 - Nineteen al Qaeda members hijack four US passenger airliners. Two are flown into the Twin Towers in New York, one crashes into the Pentagon and another crashes into the Pennsylvania countryside after passengers attempt to wrest control of the aircraft to prevent an attack on the US Capitol. At the World Trade Center site 2,753 people are killed; 184 at the Pentagon; and 40 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. A total of 2,977 people are killed.
November 5, 2009 - Major Nidal Malik Hasan kills 13 people and one unborn child and injures 32 at Fort Hood, Texas, during a shooting rampage. He is convicted and sentenced to death. Hasan is not charged with terrorism, but the rampage is considered by many to be a terror incident.
April 15, 2013 - Twin bomb blasts explode near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three and wounding at least 264. One suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, is killed in an encounter with police. His brother, suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, is captured and charged with one count of using and conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction resulting in death and one count of malicious destruction of property by means of an explosive device resulting in death. He is given the death penalty on June 25, 2015.
July 16, 2015 - Mohammad Abdulazeez opens fire on a military recruiting center and a Navy reserve facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee, killing four US Marines and a Navy sailor. FBI Director James Comey later says Abdulazeez's actions were "motivated by foreign terrorist organization propaganda," adding that it's difficult to determine which terrorist group may have inspired him.
December 2, 2015 - Married couple Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik open fire on a holiday party taking place at Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California, killing 14 people. Investigators believe the couple was self-radicalized.
June 12, 2016 - Omar Mateen, an American-born man who'd pledged allegiance to ISIS, kills 49 people and wounds others in a shooting spree at a gay nightclub in Orlando, the second-deadliest mass shooting in recent US history and the nation's worst terror attack since 9/11.
October 31, 2017 - Eight people are killed and almost a dozen injured when a 29-year-old man in a rented pickup truck drives down a busy bicycle path near the World Trade Center in New York. The suspect has been identified as Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov. Authorities found a note near the truck used in the incident, claiming the attack was made in the name of ISIS, a senior law enforcement official said.
December 11, 2017 - Akayed Ullah, a 27-year-old immigrant from Bangladesh, sets off a homemade pipe bomb he is wearing in a walkway below Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York. It detonates only partially, and only Ullah is seriously injured. Five other people have minor injuries. Ullah had pledged allegiance to ISIS, officials say.

Trump made up the lie not caring about what was true in order to mindlessly enlist his slobbering cultists.

We have had this discussion about how far right wing domestic terrorist attacks outnumber Islamic terrorist attacks nany times before.

https://www.vox.com/world/2017/10/2/...errorism-islam

https://www.theoaklandpress.com/life...e4f8710c6.html

To hear it from the Trump administration, Muslim extremists pose the greatest risk to Americans today.

Shortly after a judge blocked his ban on travelers from mostly Muslim countries, President Trump tweeted that “many very bad and dangerous people may be pouring into our country.”

The president’s National Security Strategy, issued in December, identifies “jihadi terrorists as the primary transnational threats Americans face.”

In January, the administration released a report attempting to link immigrants to terrorism, a report The New York Times, the Daily Beast, the Intercept and others called “misleading.”

But two independent studies issued last month show that the number of Muslim Americans associated with violent extremism in 2017 continued to fall, and the number of Americans killed by white supremacists in the U.S. last year was far higher than those killed by Muslim extremists. More specifically, over the last decade 71 percent of all terrorism-related fatalities have been linked to domestic right-wing extremists, while 26 percent of the killings were committed by Islamic extremists.

We should really thank him for that.
Maybe flowers for the WH, or a fruit basket?

I'd wager that Trump dislikes anything fruit.

Here it is, in a nutshell: Millions of people are

Certainly, chimp.
He doesn't appear to have a very balanced diet.

How else would you interpret it?
