Any lawn mower repair experts here?

I need a belt for my Husqvarna mower. It is part number 532194149.

I found one on ebay for $10.58. Here is the description:

Genuine AYP SEARS HUSQVARNA BELT.DRIVE.FG Part# [AYP][532194149]

There is another one listed with the same part number for a MTD/Cub Cadet mower for $16.

All the rest are $24 and up.

Do you think the Sears belt for less than half the cost of an OEM will fit the same?

It looks like a regular V-belt that you probably can get at any auto parts store (need to bring old one for size)

I was wondering if it was a common belt that an auto parts store would have. That would probably be less than ebay since there is no shipping involved.

take the old belt down to napa and they will give you an identical one at probably half retail when you figure the shipping involved in buying the oem.

Thanks. I was wondering if this was a common belt or a special-sized one that would be hard to find.

Grainger carries a ton of belts, but usually at a premium.

Grainger sucks, I am shocked how they stay in business. McMaster-Carr, better prices, quality, selection and in most areas order by 6pm and it will arrive the next day for less than what many charge for UPS ground. I think Grainger survives from carpet bombing style advertising on AM radio. In my 30 years of buying from McMaster I don't think I ever saw or heard an advertisement from them. I believe they built their customer base from word of mouth.

Partstree looks good. eBay was about 15 total including shipping.

I am a self proclaimed lawn mower repair expert. I fixed and re-fixed one of my mowers 4 times last year and one time this year. I can fix and then re-fix any mower, I am very good at doing this. The best thing is that I have now spent $125.00 on fixing and re-fixing my mower. I feel it is a wise investment because I can buy a new one for $200.00.
