Oaks undercard
A really interesting twist in the Oaks Derby winners running 1 year later on the same day.
The La Troien has been a graveyard of favorites over the years and this feels very much like a race to bet against Abel Tasman.
In the Alysheba if Always Dreaming cannot win this race he is probably done, he comes off an ok prep into a race that has no pace to it where he should walk on the lead.

While I respect the favoritw I think this is a pretty good field, i liked the 6 and the two outside horses.

Abel is the model of consistency, always makes a run. Whether if it is good enough tomorrow that is a question that the handicapper must answer.
Fell short in the distaff in November but are there any Forever Unbridled's lining up against. Salty always seems to fall short in these G1 event but perhaps her prep races have done her a world of good.

yea, after looking at the field for a grade 1 it came up really weak, other then her. Maybe Salty can turn the tables on the stretch out but man, she has more excuses than wins, many more.

Maybe no one is watching these races...they just missed on serious race horse there in Backyard Heaven.
Always Dreaming has truly done enough in this case.

Feels like the rail is really good, going to try and hook up the 1, 3 and 13 in exactas with the 10.
