Will take the Highly Motivated here. I can see him on the lead here and if that's the case, be very tough to run down.

Expecting another easy trip for ESSENTIAL QUALITY who has enough tactical speed to be placed wherever the jock wants in this nearly paceless race. The battle is for second, and HIDDEN STASH may get it done over HIGHLY MOTIVATED.

HIDDEN STASH broke like a shot from the rail in the Sam F. Davis before settling along the rail, making a steady advance down the backstretch. Rider shifted him off the rail dramatically (not sure that was necessary) and colt failed to switch leads those finished with good energy. In the Tampa Bay Derby he broke clean but had no speed and made a prolonged wide sweep of the field (for some reason the recently retired announcer claimed he was "weaving his way from between horses...will need racing room"), charged to the front but hung late. He didn't lose contact in his maiden tries at sprint distances, may just tag HIGHLY MOTIVATED in deep stretch for second. Well bred for the classics, by the same sire as TIZ THE LAW and the female family is the same as MAXFIELD.

HIGHLY MOTIVATED finished well in the Gotham after a disastrous opening furlong, though those in front of him were struggling late to some extent. Hasn't been two turns, not convinced he's bred to route (though this is a light field with no real speed), and he has found a way to get into trouble out of the gate in all 4 of his starts.

Good Luck.

He looks the best value, even at 2nd-choice. Hoping they get carried away on the chalk.

May even be the best horse in the race. I'm not seeing a ton of great horses in this field, and I'm not 'against' the ESSENTIAL QUALITY (just his underlay), so it looks like a two-horse race on my paper.

I could be wrong about the UNTREATED, but he looks like a type of horse who needs things his own way (and maybe he'll get that in a soft paced route, for a barn that's warming up in the division, and a nice day), but I wasn't thrilled, and the public will include the in the verticals...

So I'm Win/Horizontals w/ , unless I find a long shot closer in here

Untreated's close relative Empress Eleanor dead-heated for the win in an allowance race earlier on the Bluegrass card. Dam is also the grand-dam of Untreated.

Horses warming up for Ashland. All year everywhere each number had its own color on the saddlecloth. Who is the genius that put all saddlecloths the same color. So you can’t tell whose who when they run down the stretch.
