you were pretty good on Horse Tourneys, actually a much bigger feat in my eyes than picking this horse..
but as you know the real money could be coming in with my mining stock, MUX, it needs to finish April at $1.60 or more and do it with over 200 million shares total for the month to get the real money. that will confirm to me that its on the way to $9.

Caddo River was going to lead. The pace was almost exactly what was expected.
Concert Tour simply ran worse than expected. Super Stock got a good trip and also ran better than expected. Caddo River ran a little better than expected.
If there is a conspiracy theory, it's that Concert Tour already had the points, and is on schedule to peak in the Kentucky Derby, so, I suppose, there is some possibility that we didn't see the full extent of Baffert/West 'magic'.
That sounds silly, but with Baffert, there is always apprehension.
Authentic looked hopeless for the Kentucky Derby last year, after he hung so badly late in the (earlier than KD last year) Haskell Stakes, life-and-death to barely beat NY Traffic after opening a 2-3 length lead.
Concert Tour would need a similar rejuvination, and I'll reluctantly include Concert Tour on some of my tickets, but he's no longer a key. If it was almost any other trainer, I'd toss Concert Tour at any kind of shorter price.

It was a very slow 39 and change final 3/8th. I’m tossing the entire field.

Concert Tour can't get the distance and can't pass horses. Super Stock is a sneaky underneath play in the Kentucky Derby.

maybe i ddin't see the same race as some of you guys, but to me CONCERT TOUR didn't look that great crossing the wire and might have a problem somewhere. for that matter, he didn't look that great before the race. but what do i know, i am not a paid paddock preview expert.

I would say it’s definitely not a good look that he got a head of Caddo River only briefly before folding and giving what would be 2nd place right back.

He a non-Phalaris dam sire side. I don't think that holds much water but some folks swore by it some years ago. I would have been far more excited for this horse had he been hard charging to the place pool but, instead, he was slow charging to the win which also kills some Derby value. The splits of 23.89, 24.74, 26.39, (13.28) suggest he benefitted from a meltdown after the 3/4 pole that is less far less likely to happen in the Derby, particularly this year with the quality E and E/P types.
