Twinspires for now

I will stick with Twinspires if they don't get rid of Twinspires classic. I've tried their "new and improved" updates and I hate them all. I try them to see if there is a benefit to using them but I never find any. I guess Twinspires has people(low paid interns) who never wagered on a race try to improve their wagering interfaces??.

Then again, the satisfaction or concern for the Horse Racing Fan, AKA (the customer) has NEVER been a priority to this sport!

Recently checked out Amwager and am surprised how many tracks that they do not have. I am a bit disappointed. I understand the hardball tactics that CD plays but other providers have found a way to get the signal.

We are still working on it.

All tracks we are missing are managed by Churchill Downs.

At this point I honestly have no idea why they won't give us the content versus some that they do.

Twinspires Classic, or the old Winticket interface, allowed one to save your track settings and navigate throughout the rest of the site without having to go through the painful process of reselecting the tracks desired. A simple change to management of cookies, but the beancounters behind the scenes want to support fewer interfaces to "save" dough.

So what's available now is not Twinspires Classic, but more like "Twinspires Pain-in-the-ass Classic interface".

The savings from supporting fewer interface formats only makes sense if you ignore the outflow of players (and revenue) who are pissed off enough to use another service for that simple, really simple, issue. Simple being the key word here. As in simple-minded execs and managers.
