Michael Thomas Flynn was entrapped because he would have unraveled this whole charade in his capacity as United States National Security Advisor much sooner. Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. name came up several times today as the man who suggested to go after Michael Thomas Flynn and was a unmasker. The possibility exists to put hiding Biden under the bus and back up over him a few times. It is not that he has never had a idea, it is just that they were never any good.

He is either a narcissist or corrupt (and compromised). My leanings are with the later. Flynn is so valuable as a witness and as a source of information that the Judge's Deep State handlers can not allow Flynn to go free. And no doubt if freed, Flynn would certainly not lack motivation to serve.

or someone is blackmailing him about his family.
Did Flynn really pay the Eric Holder employed lawyer firm over $6 million?

The judge is good friends with Holder. Holder firm charges 6 million to Flynn till he is broke. Holder is friends with Obama whose officials attempted to frame this man to begin with. Now people say this all seems unusual . No shit. All threads of these webs lead back to the same spider.

Depending on the actual pardon and its scope there are problems either way.
If its too narrow he could face other charges as its quite obvious the DoJ left some stuff on the table during his guilty plea. Conversely, if it's too broad he can't take the 5th anymore and protect those in his orbit.
There is a reason the DoJ tried the circus stunt of just dropping the charges after he already pled guilty.

The govt is done with Flynn. He served his purpose the last four years and no longer serves any purpose. You may bookmark this post for future reference. It’s over.

What other charges? Has the statute of limitations expired?

The DOJ (people involved in this fiasco) went the route of Snagglepuss. "Exit stage left, or right, or whatevah" because they know that if this charade continued they would be exposed and swiftly discredited for their malfeasance.
