In my younger days, many years ago:

All of the Southern California thoroughbred tracks (Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, Del Mar, Fairplex) during the day to Los Alamitos (quarter horse or harness) at night. The Orange County Fair used to have night thoroughbred racing at Los Alamitos when Del Mar was running, and several times I drove from Los Angeles to Del Mar in the morning and then on the way home I'd stop in for the Fair races at Los Alamitos.

Golden Gate - Bay Meadows. One day of a road trip to San Francisco involved going to Golden Gate (thoroughbred) during the day and then to Bay Meadows (quarter horse) in the evening.

1st track was Monmouth, then to Aqueduct, then to Yonkers and finally driving home on the NJ Turnpike stopped at my 4th track, the Meadowlands for last race. It was a long day, but had about $200 profit. The funny thing is I tried to get to Freehold after Monmouth, but dispatch sent me to Yonkers area. It would've been 5 tracks in one day since i would spend a little less time at each to make all five.

I've had doubleheaders several times with a combo of Monmouth/Big M/Freehold.
The unheard of quadruple header......awesome!!!!

I think a Chester-parx-Delaware pk-Dover/Harrington could be done now.....wouldn't be able to catch more then 3 races a track but def doable!!!

You know what Tom I don't think it counts but we used to go to Toronto 2 times a year around 10 or so years ago before my friend died......if don't count but I was on the Batavia apron around 2pm and went to woodbine that night!!!! This was when Batavia was still closed before live racing resumed in I guess maybe 2004?

Also forgot to add my freehold/garden st.....totally forgot about paying $40 for the Phoenix seafood buffet at garden st....had to wear a jacket there

Beat this one:

Laurel, Charles Town, next day Aqueduct, Yonkers.

Many Maryland t-bred harness double headers, also Maryland t-bred / Charles Town, a few Maryland / Penn.

Better were Maryland / Garden State or Maryland / Meadowlands.

If we count dogs and jai alai, I did a quadruple header in one day many years ago.

Tampa Bay Downs (about 7 races), Derby Lane Greyhounds (Last 3 races of matinee), Tampa Jai Alai (1st 5 games or so), and back to Derby Lane (last half of night card). I was young and foolish, but had a blast. I miss being young, but at least I can still be foolish.

Quadruple Header--Sort of.

August in the mid or late 70's. Up very early. Drive from Glendale to Mexican border. Park on US side and walk to the TJ downtown Caliente Foreign Book before 9:00AM to bet Keystone, Saratoga, and other East and Midwest tracks. Back across the border and drive to Del Mar, miss the first race or two, no matter, no interest in them. In between races find a couple of quarter horses I really like that night. After DMR drive to Los Alamitos and stay until the last race. Drive to downtown LA and stop at a bar that is a horseplayer and gamblers hangout, now about midnight. As I enter the bar I hear one of my friends call out "here comes our fourth player, now we can start the game." After a couple of beers go to a pals place and play poker all night, game breaks up well past dawn the next day. Have now been in action for 24 hours straight. Was a winner in all four places. Go home and collapse, but so tired have trouble sleeping. When I recall such behavior today, am more convinced than ever that surely I must have been crazy, and likely still am.
