It comes down to this. Some people in society are teflon and won't be fired no matter how bad they are at their jobs....so, if you're him and you're in no danger of ever being fired, why work harder than you have to?

Maybe you can fly to Tampa and teach Grunder how to call out names correctly instead of "fixing posts" on message boards.
I'm better at fixing posts on message boards than calling out names.

Grunder must read this board.......listen to his call of Race 7 today, he went slower, his voice sounded different and it seemed like he was really concentrating on calling a good race, why would he alter his calling style unless he knew we cared.

What say you?

What say you?
I heard an earlier race and agree that he sounded different, but I think he has a history of doing this after a big race day. Lately he seems to have some trouble with his voice going hoarse, and when he feels his voice going bad, I think he tends to give a more relaxed call.

I didn't listen to any of his calls yesterday so I don't know if was yelling a lot.

That race was the only call i heard today and it sounded much less "excited" than he usually puts in, it seemed like he was taking his time, but this could be him resting his voice a bit. I liked the 'new him' it wasn't hard to listen to at all.

Sounded like he was hoarse or under the weather today. Give him a thumbs up for toughing it out.

No doubt, there seemed to be a good effort in that race to get it right, it was a good call.
