Hmm ..
Arizona is a Death Penalty state.
They might just fast track this guy.
I don't think there'll be much opposition to that.

Gotta think it was pure stupid impulse and not some kind of grand idea beyond maybe a personal grudge/vendetta against police. You're more likely to stumble upon a handgun along the side of the road in Arizona than you are a nickel so hard to imagine someone out to make a statement against cops here would opt to drive around looking for officers off-guard to plow into as the means.

Horrific. This guy should never see the light of day again. Blaming this on the NFL players though? No way, it's like blaming violence when you were a kid on the Three Stooges. Everyone is accountable for what they do. No blaming the NFL, the Stooges, Beavis and Butthead etc.

I'm not really blaming the NFL, just that people can and do get influenced by what these sports players do. Saying Cops are racist killers... surely can not be a good thing. This goes back on Obama as well who has helped cultivate this mindset.

How did the cop, the one that looks like he was hit head-on and hurled through the air into the store...how is he still alive? How is he not dead? Unreal...
And people ask why "gun nuts" feel the need to arm themselves.
Against freakin' nutcases like the guy driving the car in this video.

Wow, did you use all of your 132 IQ to make that post?
Let's assume you're a "gun nut", and there you are minding your own business, when some dude mows you over (or people near you) with a car. Thank God you have your gun! No need to determine if he's sick or having a heart attack, or if there was a malfunction with the vehicle. I mean, if none of those things immediately present themselves, and the guy seems like an a-hole, shoot him!
It's why you're carrying, after all!

Actually, genius, I was referring to the mentality of the individual driving the car. When you hear of the evidence that the guy in the video was having a heart attack, you let me know...maybe he mistook the brake for the accelerator!

I know, that's why I said once you've determined he's an a-hole. One of the many attributes of your average gun nut is the gift of immediate mentality assessment. This often manifests via the interjection, "Dude's crazy! Shoot him!"

Again, not my point.
There are plenty of situations where the mental assessment is more than obvious and the threat to life and limb plain as day, and where a gun would come in quite handy as a means to defend against such obvious threat assessments.

But those guys were cops on duty.
So they were armed.
But their guns didn't do them any good because it all happened so fast.
Sorry PA, this scenario doesn't provide any grounds for claiming that people who arm themselves are safer.
Other scenarios might, but not this one.
Jus' sayin'.
