Yemen: U.S. Forces Evacuate Base As Al Qaeda Seizes City

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/0...ushpmg00000067

Hell of a headline to read, considering OBAMA told us AQ was on the run, practically decimated.

The man is responsible for rampant growth in multiple terror networks

100 US troops, who must have had this exit planned a while ago.

I'm surprised you didn't add that the POTUS is enjoying
basketball and golf as all this is going down.

Yemen has been deteriorating for weeks and months.
This isn't exactly big news.
Western nationals had been leaving there for some time.
Instability did not occur overnight.

Yes, the massacre at the mosque yesterday was a horrific tragedy.
Unfortunately, it won't be the last of the turmoil.

So you admit OBAMA blew it and lied about it being a success

It probably isn't his best moment in charge.
However, things change quickly in volatile regions like Yemen.

A mistake, but hardly a "Mission Accomplished"

when its all said and done, the only one that will be on the run will be Obama, and i suspect you won't be able to find him with a search warrant.

I'll wager he will enjoy life out of office more than his predecessors.
Bush and Cheney are in danger of arrest in many countries outside the US.

The Bush and Cheney story is pure idiocy. It have been checked many times, and there is no evidence that any country or international authority has issued arrest warrants for either.

odd how under Obama ISIS/al Qaeda has been right there to grab our abandoned weapons. Iraq, Libya, Yemen. In fact I'm convinced the whole reason for the raid on Libya was to grab land, oil, money and weapons, under the guise of doing something about Qaddafi. The raid on our Benghazi office was part of the weapons looting process.

Thank goodness Egypt stood up to him and threw out his Muslim Brotherhood cronies on their ear.

When Obama leaves office he'll pack up Michelle and kids and live abroad wherever he wishes. He'll live like a king no doubt. Why would he remain here in a country he obviously detest?
ISIS will flourish and he'll be safe and sound. What happens here as a result of his reckless leadership is anyone's guess, but it can't be good.

Rumor is that Obama bought the "Magnum, P.I." mansion in Hawaii.

Strange that a man that believes so strongly in global warming and rising oceans would buy beach front property.

If my goal was to destroy the United States, I would be smart enough to know you couldn't do it quickly. It would have to be a slow almost imperceptible process.

You'd have to very slowly erode its position economically with a lot more debt and by adding more unfunded long term obligations and promises.

You'd have to flood country with uneducated and low skilled workers that would drain resources and politically move the country further towards the path of economic suicide.

You'd have to add regulations and programs that would further incentivize business and capital to leave the country.

You have to slowly strengthen our foreign policy adversaries by withdrawing and showing the kind of weakness that emboldens them to be aggressive and make gains against us.

Basically, I'd be the Obama administration.

The irony is every neo-con on this board was clamoring to spread democracy to the Middle East under GWB, apparently to ignorant to realize the fallout. On this one, you're correct.
