Here's what I use, simple yet effective:
www.SartinMethodology.com/tools/ewc2.exe
Vertical and horizontal exotics, from .05 cent units upward. The equivalent will be part of RDSS 2.1 (Q1 2012) and its tote/ADW integration module.

I looked more closely at the rules from last year and this is what the Scratch Rule was:
6. Regarding Early scratches, If a horse is on the early scratches from the NYRA website which are posted around 1100AM if I remember correctly, he does NOT go to the post time favorite anymore. Only horses that are considered late scratches do you get the PT favorite.
So, in keeping with tradition I'm going to Edit Rule #6 as I had it worded and replace with the above, which would make it the same as last season.

If I post my picks the day before and there are scratches can the post be edited until the start of the Pick 4? Thanks.

Looking back at last year it looks like it was allowed. I see no problem other than it would be best to make as few posts as possible for easier data entry for the scorer. Just ensure all posts are in one full minute before the start of your Pick 4.

You just need to have a free DRF membership to use it, same as viewing entries, results, pdf charts, etc...

Forgive me for not totally getting this
Sir
I must post early, most always early, and sometimes can check back before posttime for late scratches or even the 11am scratches, am I allowed to change my picks if a few scratch, or am I stuck, even if I singled a pick and it scratched, and I catch it in time. before post time, of course
Now it would be too late to edit, so do I copy, (quote) and show the new selections after scratches, with prices and cost of course
Thanks I could not figure it out from the rules , sorry

See post #38....asked and answered. When reposting your picks it would be best if you posted your complete revised tickets so there is no confusion.

Hello Patrick,
Let me see if I can explain this in a way that makes sense to you.
From my interpretation of the rules, I am accepting revised selections for ANY reason provided that your post is at least one full minute before the DRF charts "Off Time".
Changed selections increase the possibility of error, so the best thing to do is the following:
(a) Quote the original selection(s).
(b) In the reply, use the comment "Please cancel/disregard ALL of the selection(s) in the quote above, and replace them with the selection(s) listed below:".
(c) Below the comment above, list ALL your ticket(s), whether they are new, revised, or even UNCHANGED from the original posting.
This way I do not have to compare posts......I simply go with the latest posting.
BTW, nice to meet you this year at the Toga Party!
Chris
