You just don't leave without massive planning, coordinating, thinking.
That is why Trump delayed, while Biden, an idiot, knew, like you, only one idea - leave. It was a disastor. We left Americans behind, we betrayed those there who helped us, we left millions of dollars in equipment behind, needlessly because Biden is a f****** fool. And we looked like fools fumbling on our way out, tail between our legs.

The US has no credibilty on the world stage. Our word is worthless.

I suggest you peruse other sources

So, it's factually wrong that Trump called out Angela Merkel in front of her very own NATO and EU partners for making a separate deal for Putin's natural gas? Ha ha. You are clueless, as usual.

So, it's factually wrong that NATO and EU countries promised to protect Ukraine against Russia? A promise they reneged while pulling the rug out from Ukraine? Ha ha. You are clueless, as usual.

Nothing I wrote is factually wrong.

Also, to paraphrase the 45th and 47th president of the USA:

Putin invaded Georgia in 2008 under G.W. Bush; Putin annexed Crimea 2014 under Barack, and Putin invaded Ukraine last week under Biden.

When Donald Trump was president, from 2016-20, Putin sat on his hands cowering.

You are the one wasting time. You should return to the video game universe because you still are unqualified to contribute anything of substance in a real-life debate.

People of Ukraine are like, WTF MAN?
Ask Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland how they're feeling right now.

It must really grind your gears that this is going so well for the United States... better than anyone could have hoped really.

Get a clue old man.

Trump didn’t delay shit. The stable genius negotiated the withdrawal of US troops with the Taliban without involving the Afghan gov’t and agreed to release 5,000 Taliban prisoners. To be released before we left. He set the hard withdrawal date for early 2021. He also reduced the number of troops to 2,500 before the withdrawal.

Criticize Biden all you want, he definitely deserves some. But it was Trump who put that shit-show in motion.

Contrary to this post the United States apparently has a shitload of credibility on the world stage... its very evident at the moment.

Also... there isn't a pretty way to lose a war.

Nixon and Kissinger were light-years ahead of both Trump and Biden at realpolitik...

You still had the photos of helicopters over the Saigon embassy.

So what’s his exit strategy?

Slink back across the border?

Hey Dave, you've always been pretty cordial with me so, if I may, are you referring to Putin?

Nahh, I dont see him being able to slink back at this point. He has placed all of his eggs in this basket. Slinking back would almost take himself out of power. my opinion is his only way to maintain a hold on power is Ukraine has to fall.
Ive read several stories that the "common" folk of Russia dont even want this "war".
However, I also don't think Putin can with stand a long drawn out conflict. Too much economic pressure from the rest of the world. This is where Putin's ace in the hole comes into play....Belarus! Belarus allowed Putin an ave into Ukraine and will also throw all of their support (even militarily in my opinion) if needed to help him succeed.

The question then becomes, how does the world react if Belarus joins in (more directly)??

Who knows at this point..... ??

He still probably wins the war.

Occupies the country and installs a puppet.

The cost on him is going to be horrific and this will be their modern day Afghanistan.

Meanwhile the west mobilizes. Sweden and Finland probably join NATO. In the far east we restructure our defensive arrangements.

We're going to a cold war footing with the Rim, NATO, EU, and US becoming much more confrontational with the Eurasian powers. Containment is back...

Back to Putin...

Really, I think he's too pot committed at this point and the only exit ramps are Zelenskyy agreeing to some sort of deal but I'm not sure how that would look... or the oligarchs putting something cold and metallic to the back of his head.

He has to soldier on and hope this phase of the war ends quickly.

You're correct.

That's why its still mind-numbingly stupid he went ahead with this in the first place...

Sure the Russians are underperforming while the Ukrainians are overperforming but this conflict was always going to take a week and you can already see the international response...

I think he spent too much time in his COVID bunker and believes his own bullshit at this point.
