why wouldn't he be on this horse? rides him at MTH...the horse is in the money 10 out of 10 at the distance and hes run twice here with a win and a placing......this horse is a "go" today...i'm using him. i agree, this horse is very sucessful...why would jersey joe get off and why would they change jockeys if bravo wants to ride him? if johnny v or castellano get on the price drops anyway...if this horse is close to the 10-1 morning line...its a great bet. the fact he shows up here to ride this horse...is a positive sign...IMO

One of the things that I like to see in a horse
race that I think is even better than a good
joc/trn comb, is if the horse and jockey seem
to have bonded.
In this case, Bravo has won three times and
finished 2nd once with this horse, so bonding
in my opinion has taken place. The joc/trn comb
is 40% for 15 races. However, it looks like some
other early horses are going to make the bid also.

Winning Image looks to be the one that will get
out there first and with the speed advantage
coupled with the last two races facing stiffer
competition, just might be the one.

Of course, I'm just a common tator speculator
at this point.

Todd is quite loyal to riders. I'm sure he gave Bravo first call on the horse. Javier picked up alot of TAP's business when JV went to Puerto Rico in December and wasn't riding the first month of Gulfstream. If an alternate rider picks up a mount when JV is not around for some reason, they keep the mount unless the owner demands a chance.
