Biggest comeback in NFL history unfolding
Down 33-0 at the half, the Vikings just tied it up with a 62 yd screen pass.
Colts failed on 4th and inches to turn it over.
Best 2nd half in a longtime.
Previous comeback record, Bills, 32 pts.

How does the coaching staff keep their job after a collapse such as this?

This Buff-Fins game going on has a lot of unlikely stuff going on.
I'm reminded of Sam Wyche in 1989 scolding Bengal fans throwing snowballs, "You don't live in Cleveland, you live in Cincinnati!"
And after all that, big implications in the seedings going ahead could turn on a b.s. PI call.

_______
I believe I heard correctly that the Vikes didn't even make one first down in the first half
I've never been a Kirk Cousins fan - but hey, what can you say - kudos to THE MAN - he showed what he is capable of -
ESPN, who is of course, not infallible - did not pick Cousins as one of the top 10 QBs heading into the '22 season

Poor old Matt Ryan.
First he was the QB for the Falcons during the largest Super Bowl collapse in league history when Tom Brady and the Pats came back from the 28-3 deficit in the 3rd quarter in Super Bowl 51.
Now he is again on the receiving end of the biggest comeback in NFL history blowing a ridiculous 33-0 halftime lead.

Screw Matt Ryan, what about the poor people like me that had Atlanta +3.5 in that Super Bowl? People still keep bringing that up. I still had hope New England would only win by 3 in OT.

The kicking in the game has improved beyond belief. It seems odd now when a kicker misses a 50-yard field goal.

Agree. It is truly amazing the amount of guys that can kick 60 yard field goals and the accuracy they all seem to have from 50-55 yards.
Still crazy to me how so many games each week come down to teams actually playing to kick 50-57 yard FGs to decide games. Why not try to make it a 45 yarder or 35 yarder?

It's probably a method of protecting the QBs. If a kicker can get a field goal from 55 yards, why risk your $100 million player in order to reach the 30 yard line?
