Is it really job growth if people laid off when Fauci shut down the country are going back to their old jobs? or is that just dimwit logic?

What do you consider women's reproductive rights? What has sniffer Joe done to improve them?

Example:

https://nypost.com/2023/08/16/5-lies...t-the-economy/
From your link.
Wages and salaries are rising for American workers.

That WAS true in the month of July. But in 20 of the past 22 months, wages have fallen BELOW inflation. The math here is simple.

Since Biden entered office, wages and salaries are up roughly 12%. And inflation is up 15%.
The inflation rate for essentials like food, energy, mortgage payments, rent and utilities is up closer to 25% since President Donald Trump left office.

The bottom line: The average family income is down by roughly $5,000 since Biden entered office, according to an analysis by Heritage Foundation economists.

And the typical household is spending $709 more per month than it did two years ago, according to the chief economist at Moody’s Analytics.

To begin, the data in that article is 8 months old. More importantly, it’s based on an outlier. Wages were artificially high at the start of the pandemic. And here is why.

The pandemic affected low wage workers disproportionately.Restaurants and bars closed. People didn’t travel so hotels were affected. People who work in these industries are traditionally lower wage and they can’t work remotely.

Imagine the workforce consists of three workers. Worker A make $10 an hour. Worker B makes $20 an hour and Wotker C is a professional who makes $60 an hour.if you average those three, they make $30 an hour. Worker A gets laid off. Workers B and C now share $80. The two of them are now making $30. An hour.

Then, when worker A returns to work, wages decline.

If you look at a chart of Real Average Wages, for the past five years, you will see a spike at the time of the pandemic followed by an equally rapid fall. You will also notice that Real Wages now are higher than they have ever been except for that spike.

2) Biden has created more jobs than any other modern president.

It is true we have a low unemployment rate today and the jobs market is strong.

But the White House and the Democratic National Committee have been touting a chart purportedly showing that none other than Joe Biden is the greatest job creator of all time.

Better than Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and Trump.

But that is counting the jobs that were mostly created under Trump but disappeared during COVID when the economy shut down. Biden is counting the millions of jobs that reappeared when businesses reopened.

This is just the height of stupidity. Those people weren’t working, now they are. And job growth under Biden long ago passed what was lost under Trump and shows no signs of slowing down.

3) America is producing record amounts of oil and gas.

The Biden administration says we are on a path to record domestic oil production. No.

A new study by University of Chicago economist Casey Mulligan finds that the United States would be producing roughly 2 million more barrels of oil a day if we had stuck with the Trump pro-American energy production

We are not on the path to record domestic oil production. We have reached it.

December 2023 we produced 13,315,000,000 barrels of oi per day, the most ever. That is actual oil out of the ground, not imaginary, might have been oil. And Biden did it while protecting the environment and transitioning to cleaner energy.

I won't argue with you on that one. He looks like he is taking a lot of drugs for something. If you say transitioning, who am I to argue. You would know that subject better than I.

How can you ask such a question about our beloved fuhrer, I mean president? He's still an "it" until better defined.

All this great news from mostpost...and yet...

Biden support slides in latest polls

Quote:
March 3 (UPI) -- Results of a new poll show President Joe Biden's approval rating has slipped and he trails Donald Trump in several key areas just as the campaign for the 2024 election heats up.

The poll, by The New York Times and Siena College, shows that only a quarter of the nation's voters think the country is moving in the right direction. More than twice as many say Biden's policies have personally hurt them as opposed to helping them, and a majority think the economy is in poor condition.

Biden's disapproval rating has jumped to 47-percent the highest of his presidency, according to the Times/Siena poll. He is scoring weakly in terms of consolidating his Democratic base, including among women, Black and Latino voters.
NY TIMES POLL mostpost...not FOX NEWS...not TUCKER CARLSON....NEW YORK TIMES...

Only 25% of the nation's voters think the country is moving in the right direction.

Over 50% say BIDEN'S POLICIES have PERSONALLY HURT THEM as opposed to helping them...and a MAJORITY think the ECONOMY is in POOR CONDITION.

Not my words, JACK...those are the results of the NY TIMES poll. Your PAPER OF RECORD....

Brought to you from the same people who say fish are swimming in the streets of Miami and Honolulu. The same people who said Miami wouldbe under water and wouldn't exist by 2021. The same people who dont want us saying millions of people live below sea level. The same people who dont want us to know about inhabited islands that are in fact gaining land mass and not losing it.

What is a Wotker? I had to point that out as typical of someone who rips on others spelling, you misspell frequently. Your "Imagine the workforce" spiel only makes sense to someone with your odd lack of any knowledge of anything useful. If a person believed anything you posted it would make them dumber. Most all places have more lower paid workers than higher paid ones.

When lower paid workers go the people who manage and support them go with them. When restaurants shut down they no longer have the need for outside service people that are self employed or work for skilled wages.

I had two customers go out of business who sold, installed and serviced beverage dispensing machines. In this and neighboring states and maybe the whole USA the self serve ones were shut down. I made parts they used to service the machines with, considering what they bought from me, they were doing good business.

A lot of people who distribute food and supplies to restaurants are self-employed and own their route. They make good money. Same with people who service restaurant equipment, specialized repair people whether factory or independent charge more than plumbers and electricians, most will hit you with a large service charge.

A lot of those people who are self employed are paid employees of the company and pay themselves a wage, so they count in your numbers.

Bidens approval rating at 38 percent and trending downward. 50 percent is the usual number for reelection. Not a good sign for Pinocchio Joe
