REMMY ACTION 03-24
Not much happening today in racing-good day to catch up on stats and research.
Being kind of burnt out on Chucktown, I'll try my luck at Remington and the qtr horses:
REMINGTON 03-24
3RD TRENDING UP 10-1 6/3,4
5TH LETHAL TIMBER 10-1 6/3,7
6TH THE HEAVY FAVORITE 4-1 7/8,10
7TH SWEET BROWN SUGAR 15-1 6/2,9
9TH JF PRINCESS STORM 5-1 2/1,4
5 exacta key boxes = $20 wagered.

GPX BEST-FIVE 03-25
Remember that late pick-4 I hit @ Penn couple days ago? Paid less than $10.00...that one.
Well compare that to today's late p-4 @ GPX. No big winners...matter of fact had a "60 point" horse UNPRECEDENTED included in that sequence. Those are usually the horse you want to single, after verifying their status as a solid favorite. As usual I take the top-2 in the other p-4 races
What was sweet was the payoff: $0.50 Pick 4 (5/6/7/2,5,8,12) Paid $164.15 (4OF4)
Beats the heck out of that measly Penn p-4--this one at GPX paid about a hundred dollars more than you would get at Penn.

REMMY EXACTA KEY BOXES 03-31
This is turning into profitable venture...using selected Best-Five "key" races for low-cost exactas.

We just need to assume the ML is fairly accurate...or at least decide which races to play-based on that assumption. I try to find races that the morning line for all 3 of that race's picks = close to 20. The only one I played that came up short of the "20" was the 7th, and it was close enough (18). Use the highest odds horse for your key, and instead of a $6 exacta box-you'll wager only $4.
I wagered on 6 exactas-for $24.00...and hit just one:

One is all it took for a nice return.

LOOKING TO BET SANTA ANITA?
Keep looking...one glance at the Best-Five lineup here tells me this is a track with small fields, and dominant horses.
In other words, not much "mystery" here--which (the way I play, anyway) means generally low payouts-be they horizontal or vertical. My decision to avoid SA was an easy call:
Compare this to the above previous B-5 cards from RPX, GPX, and Tampa--see the difference?
You are hard-pressed to even find a race here with total ML over 10! This track has definitely seen better days.

STABLE WATCH
*Load Up Moe (#4, 3/1) is entered Parx Racing on Monday, April 4th, 2022 in Race 4.
*Luxury Suite (#8, 8/1) is entered Parx Racing on Monday, April 4th, 2022 in Race 7.
*Borracho Concho (#5, 5/1) is entered Parx Racing on Monday, April 4th, 2022 in Race 10.
*Capt. Candy (#9, 5/1) is entered Parx Racing on Monday, April 4th, 2022 in Race 10.
One entry: LUXURY SUITE in the 7th is interesting...claimed 2-back at 11-1, hard to see what the attraction was. Raced once since-didn't raise a gallop in that one. Can't find his last win-but perhaps there were some whispers about this one on the backstretch-who knows? Trainer Michael Moore knows what he's doing, so I'll put a couple dollars on this one and see what happens.
