tablet

Ive been messing around with a friends computer tablet.......she helped set it up for me, using a stylus and an annotation application. It would be great not to have to go out and buy the drf almost every day, but for me its been awkward so far and may even be slowing my handicapping down (go figure).

Does anyone use these in there daily handicapping?(drf users?)

Is there an app that can be used to (quickly?) draw freehand on the pps (pdf) at least in a smaller and readable way?

Jump in and read this thread. You might want to skip to the last few pages. Tat thread is pretty old

I don't know about using the DRF on a tablet......I never use DRF

Others can probably fill you in.

If you can get he DRF files in PDF you can use one of several programs to mark them up

I use Good Reader all the time to make up any PDF document including pps. It takes a little time getting use to it just like anything else - but I think it's fabulous.

The one complaint I have is that I'm using an I-pad which is slightly smaller than a standard sheet of paper. There is a 13 inch tablet that should be coming to market soon that I think may work nicely for marking up PDFs but maybe not so great for portability and such.

I know of one application specifically designed for tablets that is in beta testing.
