The group was forced to rest in a nearby parking garage without internet reception, with just one electrical outlet, and one bathroom with two stalls for 5,000 troops, the person said.”
Stuck in a parking garage
“ Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service. Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed,” the Guardsman said.”

What an ignoramus. You completely ignored the very first sentence of the story. “Thousands of Guardsmen were allowed back in the Capital Thursday evening.”
This happened after Senators and Representatives from both parties heard of their plight and demanded they be allowed back in, with several members of Congress offering their private offices to the troops.
Some idiot with the Capital police made a very bad decision, but it was corrected quickly.
Of course that news doesn’t fit your agenda.
