Ok, here are a couple of rules that MIGHT work since I saw them in action the last few days. Hopefully, someone can run some numbers on them.

1. The horse's M/L should be 6-1 or higher.
2. The off odds or odds at 1MTP or whenever you bet as close to post as possible should be lower than the M/L, even 4-1 or 3-1. This shows it taking some money.
3. The horse should be the only horse (or maybe just 1 of 2) that has the same driver/trainer's last name in the race. (To keep it in the family).

Maybe we can get something going.

I like this....the only thing that I would probably add would be the horse must then go back up above his ML after getting hit down with 1 MIN to post....I want a bit of an overlay situation if I'm only betting a few dollars.

Revised rule #2 per Coachv30:

1. The horse's M/L should be 6-1 or higher.
2. The odds should drop during the betting to lower than the M/L. Then at 1 MTP or whenever you bet as close to post as possible should be higher than the M/L. This shows it taking some money but still being a nice overlay. e.g. 8-1 M/L, then during the betting the odds drop to 6-1 or 5-1 or even lower, then go back up to 8-1 or higher at 1 MTP when you bet.
3. The horse should be the only horse (or maybe just 1 of 2) that has the same driver/trainer's last name in the race. (To keep it in the family).
4. I've seen these horses come in 2nd also, so optional step 4 would be to bet place also.

The only person I know with a database is Ray, maybe Pandy. Ray/Pandy, if you have some time, is it possible to run this thru your database?
