If he going to play with the big boys in the senate, he had better learn the senate rules. They will eat him for lunch if he doesn't. If all he wants is to make a few speeches, he be better advised to pick a better forum. Nobody listens to or reads about anything said on the senate floor. In a month nobody will even remember he made his speech or the screw up it caused.
Good analysis of Harry Reid.

RG

The Tea Party will be strong as ever long after your both gone. Lets talk of things that are relevant. It has been 83 years since the republicans have had such a majority in the United States House of representatives, do you think the big bad tea has hurt them ?

Mitch and Boehner are going to ignore the Tea party. Why do you think Cruz is raising so much hell right now. The election was both a blessing and a curse. For Cruz who just wants to blow up the establishment, it gave him the majority side of the aisle, but it also gave the establishment more votes to push around the back benchers and those who don't want to go along.

I said before the election that the real importance of the election was Supreme Court and Judge nominees. That is all I expect. Slowing down and swaying nominations. Of course stopping legislation was a given

No disrespect JR, your the one who had doubts the sweep would be as big as it was right? Both of these guys are dead politically unless they act in the best interest of these United States.

Only time will tell. Yes I was not expecting the wave on election night.

I am very happy about the state legislatures. They are very important.

I can't image him doing anything that enterprising or intellectually challenging. I see a guy standing outside a strip club handing out 2 for 1 drink coupons and trying to lure in lonely guys for a lap dance.
