CJ, what'cha gonna do all day tomorrow?
It won't take long to put your beer in the frig, assemble a year's worth of junk food, settle in your recliner, and hoard the remote waiting
.

for your 6 pm Sunday kickoff.
I can't wait for the commercials. Though I've learned the new owners (that are now the braintrust) of Budweiser have made their first ad mistake.
There will be no Clydesdales spot. Now tell me, how damn dumb is that?

Hey...no Clydesdales...what's up with that grits...it's very damned dumb
I love the commercials too...Broncos or Jets didn't make it...so I could care less about the game
And, IMO, racing shoulda got together, found the $$, and put in a commercial for racing...highlight our two big mares and the TC...something...not to run an ad during the Super Bowl...really, really damned dumb

Cancellations Fri/Sat
They’re calling for 20 to 30 inches by Sat. night and Charles Town hasn’t canceled for Sunday yet? What a hoot! They might not reopen until spring.

I heard late word today is that the Clydesdales are in. Supposedly AB got a lot of heat over leaving them out, and they reshot the ad(s).

I just heard that too What's Budweiser without those big horses ...we grow malt barley for Budweiser Beer...and the Clydesdales were here a few years ago...for grower appreciation day, we'd appreciate getting paid more for our malt barley Bud!!!

I haven't had the tv on today at all, Sandpit, but if you're correct, I'm sure glad to learn so!!
If they can remotely reproduce one as good as "Hank" it'll be cause for celebration!!!! Honestly, my favorite SB commercial of all time. (The one after 9/11 running a close second.)
Lord, I wish I knew how to embed these things.

YES! And on the racetrack, no less!! Closing, with a jock aboard.
EDIT TO ADD: This particular one filmed in 2008.
Though with 3 commercials shot, who knows which one will be aired.

And I apologize for hijacking CJ's thread. Please, forgive.

All these cancellations on dirt and poly.
Just what in the heck is the Aqu inner surface made of? Maybe Cali should install that stuff.

Aqueduct didn't really get much snow at all...and the surrounding area (including much of Long Island) received nothing more than a dusting.

In a real show of class, Bud ran it only once.
