time to reverse?
Democratic Senator Sheldon just SOLD OUT OF 3 companies.. AT+T, ALIBABA, MCHP.
this guy is closely associated with Nancy Pelosi.. these guys have a great nack of selling their stocks before they drop. these are more than likely great shorts right now.
i am going to watch the sales of stocks by congressmen and senators to see if there is a major trend change about to happen.
people like to argue about politics on this board (purely a waste of time) i just want to know what they are buying or selling!

They have a lot of DEBT on their books.....if interest rates start going up

their debt is $930 million and they have $710 million in their treasury. the company's earnings improved by 140% year to year. i really don't think their debt is any type of problem for this company, what could be a problem would be the price of Gold and Platinum. they are a very large high-cost producer. if the price of oil jumps to $100 and simultaneously the Gold ounce falls to $1500, then they are in big trouble.
but i do see where you are coming from because one would think that the company should employ some of that $710 million to buy back stock and support the share price.

If SBSW can form a decent base here, and start to move up, it looks interesting, especially at a 12% div! I guess 7-9% was just too stingy.

Big Shock In China Markets
US Stock futures way down as I post this...Ripple effect from the fallout in China with Evergrande.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikeosu...h=71335527e6ee
Evergrande Group China’s second largest property development group will likely find itself unable to make the interest payments on a series of loans to China’s banks and will technically likely default, with trading in many of its onshore bonds already suspended. A key test will come on 23 September when the company is due to pay a coupon on a USD-denominated offshore bond.
