Read a reader's comment on one of the other threads here--it succinctly summed up our Afghanistan abandonment:
Literally all that needs to be said....
in one sentence:

"Remember when we were energy independent, the border was under control, low gas prices, no inflation, low unemployment, the fighting in the Middle East was under control , ... But all of that was months ago before Biden took over.

Could anyone--I MEAN ANYONE--Anyone offer another view?

..........didn't think so

NorCalGreg...they certainly can't. But...it won't stop them from telling you that you are STILL wrong. Alternate Reality is their MO.

I know it, ER! People (commentators, reporters, gadflies, world-class knuckleheads, Dem spin doctors, washed up Hollywood types really just want to stay "relevant" somehow)

I really shouldn't say this publicly...but I would love to, while all the world press looks on as ... just literally walk up to Michael Moore and bust his fat face up, as he runs away in tears.

The now-irrelevant Hollywood types--this is all they have left to stay in the public eye--bash America!

That's pretty sad when you have to resort bashing your own country, people, history, etc...the very
institutions that made you rich and famous.

And some of you have the nerve to call yourselves "oppressed". You want to see real oppression? Turn on any news channel reporting from all over the world.

100 years from now...the same claims of American Oppression will continue from the same group. When you have nothing else...when you aren't a "victim" of anyone but you're own low-intelligence, lack of ambition, that's all you have left to cling to.

Good luck with that

All this criticism of Biden is pointless and even more so, misguided, because it is based on the false premise that he is a "typical" President, whose office and power afford him significant power and influence.

Without a doubt, Biden is not in control and is only a puppet of those who are. IMO he has virtually NO input and/or influence as to the policies and decisions that are made with regard to Afghanistan and just about any other matter, even IF he still has enough mental capability to do so, which is debatable.

This Afghanistan situation is not due to incompetence, but is the result of deliberate plans and actions of those who are truly in control of our country. At this point I don't have a formed opinion yet for whatever benefits this situation was "intended" to deliver, and they could be multiple. That said, there can be no doubt that it has given the media something to be focused on 24/7, which among other things, clearly gives them even more cover from reporting on the audited election results.

And then you have the possible disinformation campaign being proffered that the CIA and other intelligence apparatus agencies staunchly opposed leaving Afghanistan.

That's why they invented the "RUSSIAN BOUNTIES" story when Trump was planning on leaving Afghanistan.

But then you have to ask yourself, if Biden isn't in control (and he clearly is lucky if he's in control of his own bowels at the moment), then we left Afghanistan the way we did and when we did because TPTB wanted it this way. If they didn't want to get out of Afghanistan, under Biden, then we would still be there.

Period.

End of story.

This ****ing world is just way too complicated and dark.

Very Possible.
Start with these three:
44-Barrack
Susan Rice
Valerie Jarrett
Just a wild guess...

The One said he wanted to 'fundamentally change' the US.

It's obviously still a work in progress.

I suspect they are governing by polls, and very selective with who gets included in the questioning.

Joe is just the front man for now.

You won’t see this on CNN. Unless it gets worse they might try to blame her

The reporter should have asked her, "so if you can't get away from your rapist, then it's because you wanted it?"

It's the same thing. Psaki had to have taken multiple showers last night to get that stink off.
