It'll be interesting to see it back at Chukyo (it was at Hanshin last year cause of renovation). One of the changes is that now, like Nakayama, it has an upward slope.
I'd imagine Curren Chan will be the favorite. (For anyone who has forgotten she held off Rocket Man and A Shin Virgo to win the Sprinters Stakes. Both will be in Dubai next week).
A lot of familiar names like Dasher Go Go (someday he'll get his G1 win), San Carlo (Hanshin Cup winner), Lord Kanaloa who is unbeaten at 1200m but who has never raced counter clockwise), beloved older guy Jo Cappuccino, and One Carat (this will be her swansong).

It's a little weird not seeing Kinshasa no Kisekis name here. He's retired now but it would have been pretty cool had he won it three years in a row.
