Saez has become my new curse word of choice after that bonehead ride.
I do love Amoss comments - stewards don't know how to watch races!

Yea that hurt, I bet that horse good.
I guess I might as well give him a chance at a really big price in the Derby.

Me too! Lost a tourney today thanks to that ride. I guess you're right about the higher Derby odds. The silver lining!

How many times do you start and stop a horse before it gives up?

I think Rosario clearly wins the feast or famine award. At this point it's like betting Frankenstein's monster. At his best he's as good as anyone and at his worst he's as bad as anyone.
The alarming thing for him and Ron Anderson is Graham Motion's comments. Basically he said going into the Wood the switch Raj would help the horse and Raj road him perfect and won.
Raj has kind of struggled to get his elite business back and I really assumed once everyone came back north his business would suffer even more. The fact Graham Motion ditched a jockey he won the Dubai World Cup with for Raj is a huge vote of confidence on him and a huge vote of non-confidence on Rosario.

Totally.
It's hard to put a finger on the problem, Joel doesn't ride at times like he's an elite handicapper and has really dissected the race, knows every nook and cranny of his competition and has a specific plan to custom-ride each horse to how that individual needs to be ridden, appears like he's riding where the wind takes him and he doesn't have a clue, physically gifted, but the 10 cent brain stuff can only get you so far.

Joel's ride on Projected in Keeneland 7th on 4/9/17 Sunday looked pretty good in the stretch run.
