You have that exactly correct.
Give me a video of the horse with proper id and I don't give a crap about the time or method.

I'm not sure what you're asking for.
Here's one that was supposed to win today and was working lights out. Baffert loved him today as well.
He was way overbet and ran 2nd.
Romanette 06/19 SA /FT 5F 59.0hG
Held her own and then some with fellow unraced two-year-old,
Dazzling Display. Broke alertly and matched strides throughout. This
gal can fly and she's ready to roll first time out.
06/07 SA /FT 4F 47.0h
Left the 1/2 with unraced two-year-old, Dazzling Display. Eye to eye
through splits of 11 4/5, 23 1/5. Came home strong to get the final 1/4
in 23 3/5 to finish up all square at the wire. Both gals can get it done.

All the pay for work ratings and their performance. I picked two winners once after my dog took a dump on the program, but I don't recommend it.
If you KNOW a horse has the goods in that size pool you would be nuts to throw it out there, imo. You could just scoop up the sucker money for a year or two and be done with it?

Agreed. However, if there are more than two gate works, it's a clear indication of gate issues.

I have that problem.
What/where are their ABCs?
What/where do they show their work over time or do I have to buy and track it myself?
Do their A horses outperform their B or C horses over time , say within 30-45 days or 3 races?

Dropping odds
I only look at straight maidens, FTS, when fast works and low M/L combined with a big odds drop.

46 mentioned earlier that they don't drug test after workouts and that's true but sometimes a trainer will lite a horse up to prepare a horse after a extended layoff. And I'm not talking about some small trainer with a few horses. These are big name Stakes trainers. Walk down their shedrows and see how many horses asses are pointed out the stall door as they try and avoid daylight and their asses are higher than their withers. The clockers get this info from the stable and make sure they catch their workouts.

I don't know what you mean by ABC's.
If you want a workout analysis you can go out there and clock them yourself or you can use a workout report. I like Bruno De Julio but there are a few others that do a good job as well. They help with young horses, especially first time starters and also with layoff horses.

If they do give them something it's usually some kind of light tranquilizer to get them to relax during a workout.

rating of the horse via the work in relation to the overall population they have seen.
A
B
C
D

just like grade school. NO, I will PASS on the work reports.
You forget(see my post in other thread) who the customers are.
Would you say(it's the best way) that I should go visit every company I wish to invest in or not invest?
bad deal, you seem infected with old horseplayer victim syndrome.

Some clockers do that and some don't. Bruno doesn't grade them.
