We have an egg shortage because of Avian Influenza(AI). When flocks comedown with this AI, they go in depopulate the whole barn. Turkeys are most susceptible to this influenza. The migratory wild bird population has been blamed for the spread of this influenza. It is not the first time we have had, but in this case it is the most virulent form, that birds wild birds have been subjected to.

Wouldn't we then have a chicken shortage? I don't see that.
Or a turkey shortage.

I hears 5% of the chickens fied from flu.
If there really is something in the feed that prevents laying eggs, then send a truckload of it to the BUFFALO BILLS.

Is the USDA investigating this? With current Biden department heads like our esteemed mayor Pete, i doubt Thomas Vilsack is paying it any mind. He's too busy fighting climate change and strengthening rural and historically underserved communities.

30 count eggs the same as last time $12 and some change, but a person in the store told me a local egg farm just burned down. Eggs here used to be on the cheap side because many are locally sourced, but that was pre Bidenflation. I can't wit to see what they will be next time.
