Could you just send me the money instead? I have a kid to put through college.

I put a dollar on the Favorite, and he lost. The Wagering Cashier said something like,"I have some advice for you. Never play The Favorite." Isn't the Favorite the "Safe bet?"

if you are getting advice, you gotta at least tip the change when cashing.
"here (keep the silver) put this in your coffee fund"
it's a fair deal...
then they start 're-naming' the moneys
this is gonna git gud
"2 100s"? "here's the 'gold'" 2 twenties? "here's the 'silver'" ten dollar bill , 35cent change...
you get the 35c unless the day is a grand one, then you also get the singles

$250 per voucher is a solid enough standard.
may avoid some tax things as well as limiting your loss to $250 in a worst case scenario.
I wasn't used to playing at a track or OTB, and it was a big, crowded day, I had once lost a voucher that got away from me while I was leaning to see the simulcast of the gate-loading. I re-centered, and it was 'gone'. poof.

If you bet $2 to show on everyone but the 1/9 favorite today at Summerside in PEI, you would have cashed out very nicely

This usually happens when a 1/9 shot runs 4th or worse.

I had an extra $100 to spare and played something like Win for each horse in the race, $8, Show for each horse in the race, $8 Place for each horse in the race, $8, I then chose WPS for each horse in the race or $24, I then played another $8 for all horses, consecutive exacta, so, 1-2, 3-4,5-6,7-8($8)and a consecutive Trifecta, 1-2-3, 4-5-6,7-8-1($9) I then put like $5 on all the Favorites, so roughly $20, and $5 on a Longshot, and I put $2 dollar on two favorites. I won a $34 profit!

I am not Trolling, I really did make every bet I spoke of. It's just that I'm still somewhat of a Newbie horse racing bettor, just started in June so my posts may come across as kind of weird.

I'm going to play more exacta bets. The exacta bets are cheap, literally only one dollar or two to play and pay out handsomely.

I put $5 on the Longest Longshot and he lost, but had he won, I would have won $250. I knew exactly what I was getting into, it just would have been nice if he had won.
