Under the constitution, it is the President's duty to nominate and the Senate's duty to hold a vote. NOTHING in the constitution mentions timing. Trump was elected for 4 years.....that time period is still in force.

There is NO MENTION of a time limit.
If you are going to use the constitution to support your argument, then at least know what it says.
