Of course you would have no problem if a red state ignored federal law when the presidency, senate and house were controlled by democrats, right?

Our constitutional republic (note I did not say democracy), fortunately enough, is alive and well...it's how Trump became President!

Pssssssssssst.......
I'm going to share a secret with all of you.
There is a relationship between homelessness levels and warm climates.
Add in the fact that these people might prefer living in a state where
they are still treated as human beings, that would make California a
pretty popular destination.
Hey.....and while you're at it....send the caravan on up.
Plenty of room in the world's sixth largest economy.

Judging from the photos of all the poop the leave behind, they apparently do not ACT like human beings.
Should be forced to work - for FREE - to clean up the mess they leave
everywhere.
If you are fit enough to poop it, you are fit enough to scoop it.

Where do you live? Ever been around a lot of homeless people? I have, I used to work at an electrical supply house on 8th and Central a block from skid row. 95%+ of the homeless there are interested in one thing, getting drunk and or high. They will relieve themselves anywhere, any place and make no effort to clean up after themselves. There are numerous amounts of dumpsters in the alleys where they live, but they don't use them. They will steal anything that isn't tied down. They don't behave like human beings, so how do they deserve to be treated like human beings? Lack of affordable housing contributing to homelessness is a myth 99.9% of the time.

Don’t forget that they are 4x more likely to have severe mental illness.

I do understand something like 25% of them are mentally ill, that doesn't excuse the way the other 75% behave. Being poor is no excuse for living like a pig in slop and not cleaning up after yourself. If they can walk to the corner liquor store to score a bottle of Thunderbird, or walk around to scavenge and steal they can use the trash cans. Most all of the people who feel sorry for them haven't interacted with them. Most of them do nothing to help themselves. All the homeless advocates should put one up in their own house for a while and see if it changes their opinion of them.
