Since many people have asked, yes, Kurt Hoover from @TVG and I had the only winning P6 ticket for $135k @santaanitapark yesterday. Surreal.
Not surprised. That was actually a very easy pick six with the exception of one horse Ward n Jerry(a horse Kurt Hoover loved as he talked about him on a couple of occasions Sunday). He actually loved the horse the time before when he won. I unfortunately did not listen and throw him into my late pick 4 which came back $1272.60. I did have the second place finisher Pretentious which would have paid over $2000. I didn't play a pick six because I didn't start capping to about 30 minutes before the 1st race and hadn't finished in time to play one. Had I played one I am certain I would have been 5 for 5, live for 6 to Pretentious and not winner Ward n Jerry. So in a strange way I am glad that Pretentious didn't win even though it cost me $2000.
He made a great call with Ward n Jerry. However, the payout was off the charts. over 4 x a pick 3 parlay on a non carryover day. They were very fortunate to be the lone ticket. That was sweet.
