You did when I posted in the only SRU started selection thread I can remember my time on the boards..few months back..that exacta at Aqueduct paid $125 and change I think.

When I bet a need the leader or horse who if they clear can't lose (from an outside post), I love to say:

Magdalina's Delight (or whatever the horse's name is) COMPLETE'S the KILLER CROSSOVER. (You're the MAN Tony Calo!)

When watching a NYRA race and have a horse on the lead trying to hold on, I have no problem saying:

Herd, CHEAT, Intimidate!

When I have a horse coiled and ready to burst after a nicely rated inside trip and is about to be angled out with run:

EXXXXXXXXXPLOOOOOODE with this 7!!!

As 7 is driving by:

my 7 is zooooooooooooooooooooooming byyyyyyyyy!

NEVER..Because its just stupid...
The leg slap with the program?> Yeah ..But no longer.
In fact I hardly ever get vocal at all.....A little body English when its a tight finish..I'm too busy watching my horse(s) to observe what others do..
Its the after race stuff that gets my attention....The swearing. The complaining. The temper tantrums.....Some are quite creative.

Oh....Had a guy yell at me to STFU.....Here's why.....They are heading for the wire. I have the 2nd 3rd and 4th place horses all bunched about oh 4-5 lengths back of the leader with a sixteenth to go and I yell out a "Tom Durkin"...."(the leader) is getting leg weary"....Of course I could see this horse was running like he was towing a 4 by 8 sheet of plywood. So this guy who must have been having a tough day and obviously had the horse on the lead looks at me and shouts the above phrase.....STFU...
My three blow by the leader and I cash.....
One of my more humorous experiences at the track....

I am speechless....

I used to say " well he couldn't possibly be getting a better trip" " If I could I'd triple my bet right now"

Went about 0 for 86 when I said that.

Decided to shut up.

Was the horse/selection on the rail?

When I saw the zooming by reference I tried to find a video of Bothe doing the zooming by stuff but couldn't find one.

Zooming by was an incredible call from one of the most underrated announcers of our time.

The funniest thing is when someone yells WIRE at Fair Grounds!!!

The wire never comes at that place. Same for Haw.

if I am near a bettor that is upset when his horse breaks bad or is trailing the field down the backstretch and not in sight on the monitor- He'll be OK he is just a little camera shy today
