If a copyright owner knows about Partymanner's site, and does nothing about the infringement of their right, how long before that right is removed, if ever?? Something similar to adverse possession in real estate, where if a neighbor uses and takes care of a piece of land as if it were his own for a period of years without consent or dispute, then the law says that the person may make a came claim of possession of the land.

It does not go into the public domain until a minimum 50 years after creation.

Storing and streaming video will take a lot of bandwidth and transfer a lot of data. Who is going to pay for that?

Storing is the easy part...no way does that entire collection take up more space than what should cost you about $30 a month to store on a reliable web host.

It's definitely the streaming part that is going to cost $$$.

Wish I could see YouTube's server/router facilities. Would be interesting.

Why I noted $1 million per day for bandwidth....that was in 2008.....bet it's way higher now!

Actually, "YouTube may pay less to be online than you do".
