You need to carefully reread this thread. Both NJStinks and myself had good things to say about Bush.It was hijacked by Q conspiracy theory nuts.Unless you consider Replay Randall ,who is one of my favorite posters, to be a liberal. There have been so far no negative comments about George the Elder on here from us liberal types.

Not that it won't happen.

He was the last good President. I don't like either side one bit but he was from the Greatest Generation. Actually served this country in an actual war we had to fight. Never backed away from this country even if it meant losing politically. He was exactly correct and honest when he stated this country was practicing "voodoo economics"....it just keeps getting worse. Its not even close to free market if a bank is big enough...it cant fail. Bonuses are given and no one gets in trouble....accountability in the private sector and the Govt. are nil. There are rumors that the Pentagon has lost 6.4 trillion dollars, 2 trillion was already known almost 20 years ago. Just like he said...."Voodoo"! As the clod hoppers argue over gay marriage, global warming, health care and immigrants their future is being pissed away right from under their noses. Economics rules everything, especially in these times. If we squander our fortunes all the other "crybaby" issues will be a moot point.

One of the last of a great generation of people. They were raised to know right from wrong, ethics and giving a shit about others. Made it not a crime to be disabled. May have seen the best this country has to offer. Because since him, we sure as shit have not seen that in our leaders. RIP.

If horse racing was as easy to predict as this board it would be too easy.

This thread pretty much illustrates the shitdom of off topic on PA these days.

A former POTUS passed away. Whether you liked or disliked, at least give the man his due respect.

RIP George.

RIP George Herbert Walker Bush

I voted for him twice. I railed against golbalist for years, also against the Bilderburg Group. How do I equate with these contrasting views? First it is important to credit George Herbert Walker Bush as being there participating in our American politic, at the time he was the preferd choice. Do I buy into everything Q has to say, hell no. Look I am a bourbon drinker, I was given some good scotch last year during the holiday. I still prefer bourbon, and suggest President 45 versus President 41 are not that different because both love the Country with every part of their being. We can all ask more from leaders we elect than they can deliver. So in this time of grief as George Herbert Walker Bush joins those have served us and now departed we should reflect that he was a good man who lived a full and rich life.

A Life In Pictures

Sincere condolences to the Bush family for the loss of a man who lived a very full and caring life.
Some interesting photos of his life are in the link below.
My Gawd, he even sky dived at 83.

RIP.

He was a patriot, a hero, and he did what needed to be done.
And didn't do what he thought didn't need to be done.

He should have served two terms.

It's sad that recent history elevates the legacies

What is the line on Trump attending the funeral?
Had there been, prior to 'recent history,' social media and MSM as despicable as what it is today, those so-called 'legacies' of previous presidents would be in shreds!

President Trump and the First Lady have been invited to the funeral and they will be attending. Unlike McCain and his family, GHW Bush and his family chose to radiate class.

Rest in peace, Mr. President 41.

Mr. President,

It was an honor to serve under both you and your son. May God continue to bless your family and the United States of America.
