I used to watch Morning Joe in its early years when Scarborough was still a moderate conservative and when they struggled to reach 200,000 viewers. But Trump helped them after he started sending nasty tweets about the show. After that Scarborough started talking much more like a liberal, which helps their ratings. People don't watch MSNBC for balanced coverage.
