I saw it today (finally got to within driving distance). Beautiful sunrises and sunsets at Turf Paradise. It is one of the better horse racing themed movies I have seen. Focusses on an aging jockey and his 'family' with others on the backstretch.

I saw this on FXM today. Literally hurt my sides laughing so hard.
Well worth the watch. I hear there are at least 2 sequels out, looking for them now.

JoJo Rabbit - went into this one not really knowing what to expect, and came away thinking it was the best movie I'd seen in a really long time. VERY well done...a truly original take on a topic that has been covered in an infinite number of ways to date. A must see in my book.

I watched JoJo Rabbit again and showed results of child indoctrination.
I also watched 'The Plot Against America' a HBO series. Interesting how they turned white supremacists into right wing supremacists and blamed the Republican Party for stuff the Democrats did. Did the KKK really target Jewish people? The 6 hour series was an interesting bit of dystopian propaganda.

Couple of days ago, I watched "The Killing" for the second time. Brings back memories of crowded race tracks in the day. It's a heist film circa 1956.

The acting was pretty good in this but it's pure drama, which is not up my alley. Good story though

I just enjoyed the miniseries "The North Water". It's about a whaling vessel and its crew.
